you give a part of your heart away

to on-line friends,

then they just walk away

I’ve had so many on-line friends,

that I concerned dear

then they just turn and walk away

I think I should just end it, and stop trying again

to even make an on-line friend

it seems the Internet is an illusion of companionship

I think I will stop trying, and just give up

trying to be any ones on-line friend

it hurts to give away a part of your heart

it hurts to have to make a new start

when your on-line friend walks away
