An engagement of thoughts to mull over.

Sadly
our perception
of love and truth
are not the same.
The receptive
and enduring heart
of an individual
can know the truth,
unlike the said
mind,
which needs knowledge
to possess.
Wisdom may dwell
on mangled patterns of
morality,
procuring distorted
facts.

I believe,
if you love something
or someone,
it is only practical to be
truthful.
I know that love
is a prime human
emotion,
only the individual
can know its
perimeters.
When juxtaposed
nothing can destroy it,
when all hope is
gone
that’s when love truly
dies.

Wow –very thought provoking–and sad–and I thought love was simple–because love is Truth–Only practical to be truthful–Sometimes love wants you to preserve the other person’s feelings so in that– truth may take a back seat—very complicated–Or maybe Love is trust –trust that one may do and go places but always be drawn back home to LOVE– Trust rather than truth–that in the end the truth doesn’t matter–because they are where they are supposed to be–with you–
    Beautiful –sad–poem–Thank you–Joanna
