People direct themselves in such a manner
Diverging into their own self-high
Hearing what they want to hear
Turning everything else away
Whispering words of wisdom
All one can do is pray
Let’s hope one day things will change
Their heart shooting for the prize
To view what they are missing
And see the world with open eyes
