Operating On Shivering Grounds.

Farther and farther flamboyant lands do burn

Into the breaches of deathly woes.

If only the tug of the frostbitten soul would uproot

Frozen words and follow the darkness into tomorrow.

For operating on this shivering road are pleading mechanisms

Waiting to be devoured by lonely follicles.

Her child mourns these hallow tears;

Yet, I march through the Lord’s royal gate

And allow my wounds to evaporate.
