Opportunity is there before us everyday. It doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor,
young or old or what color you are. It just wants your best.
Within this span
Of fleeting time
I test the marrow
In your bones
Exalting courage
Most of all
You may apply
Each early dawn
For rich or poor
I welcome them
For young and old
I am the same
Let mankind know
My door swings wide
To anyone
Who calls my name
And though I come
To offer hope
I must require
That you fullfill
One vanity
That I may know
You seek me out
With fervent will
