There’s a boy I know who seems to be
So strangely ordinary
Or at least to what our eyes can see
But in truth there’s something more quite scary…
…He is so strange but he will never let it show
He and in that form he is just ordinary
And he fights time, the world, his daily foes
And within in his heart he holds something quite scary.
There’s a boy I know who seems to be
So strangely ordinary
Or at least to what our eyes can see
But in truth there’s something more quite scary
I’ve seen this boy’s feelings
Heard the stormy clouds of thoughts
And his thoughts they send my mind reeling
He cannot seem to find, something that he’s sought.
His tongue perhaps
Or maybe something else
And his insanity it tends to relapse
His spirit lying with in a prison’s cells
This boy he seems so ordinary
He seems so common
Someone that holds nothing eerie
But peer into his open heart and find a deadly omen
Something that foreshadows the future yet to come
Something that will change his life
Or perchance make it waste no seconds, none
In daily battles, in hourly fights, he contemplates a forever strife
That boy he shows no fear
And holds it all in within
He holds his breath and tries to suppress the tears
And he is tortured from within
He is so strange but he will never let it show
He and in that form he is just ordinary
And he fights time, the world, his daily foes
And within in his heart he holds something quite scary
