Everything,
Has already been said and done,
There are no more unique thoughts,
Ideas, or forms of expression,
Instead things have been recycled,
Twisted ever so slightly,
And revamped to make it seem original,
When the person who really came up with the “original”,
Probably lived thousands of years before you,
Stories are all the same essentially,
Therefore people try to milk as much as they can out of a “series”,
Poetry and songs are the same,
The essential or main idea,
Has been used many times,
If some one comes up with a completely unique thing,
I would love to find out,
That is why I love making up words,
But chances are they have already been made,
Uniqueness is in short supply,
And for those who think they are unique,
Who think they listen to obscure bands,
Who think they wear different clothing,
Or wear their hair different,
There are thousands just like you,
Walk around on your hands with,
Tattooed clothing on,
And chances are some one has already done that,
The only way we are unique,
Is that no two people,
Are identical,
We all have flaws,
And those flaws,
Are what makes you you,
So own them.
