OTHER WORLDS
 

Some of the stars up in the sky
are really planets way up high,
worlds like ours in another place,
other worlds in outer space.
I like to watch the stars at night
and wonder if there just might be
up there on some star so high
other children watching me.
I wonder who is living there
and if they travel anywhere.
I’ve heard that no one lives on Mars
but I think maybe that there are
Mars people that fly UFOs.
Daddy says he don’t think so
but that he doesn’t really know.
Maybe it’s angels live up there
who watch the Earth with loving care.
I really think that might be so
but I really do not know.
I know that angels live out there,
up in the sky out there somewhere,
of angels I am sure there are
ten thousand there among the stars.
