What would big eyes be like.
Full grown at infancy, not all along
Grow our eyes,
If they did we’d wear a look
Of permanent surprise.
Our specks would be larger
Exclusive and glassy,
And a bigger grin to suit the size,
We’d sport a look quite classy.
Spectacular would be our wink
A major drop of lid,
a succeeding blink would then convey,
A confirmed seduction bid.
With a view so wide of range
We’d be all a jitter
wince every time we’re followed round
As they do on ‘twitter.’
Or we’d at each other stare
Stare real hard
And make our very friend a foe,
An act of the ill mannered.
A reason good to start a fight
But we’d fail with a sigh
The very attempt at a spat we’d look
Each other eye to eye.
