About a meeting I had with a person I loved many years ago. Truly, this happened only yesterday 25th September 2008! And I am shocked because before this I had seen him on 23rd August 2007 when we were given our GCSE results. I was very upset long before this because I always thought that once we leave school, it could be the end of us. I thought that I may not see him anymore! But when I did, God! I was shocked! I never told him that I loved him. It will always remain a secret! How sad.
I couldn’t believe my eyes today!
As they drew to a person I once loved!
I couldn’t believe my very eyes!
The sparkle which shined upon her arrival.
She was walking behind me, minding her business.
And suddenly I turned and we connected.
Since so long we were disconnected.
We smiled and spoke our words with glee and happiness.
After a long break of lost love.
And then again we drifted apart
, but hoping she will one day return.
Back in the days, we always played naughty
games which showered me with laughter and joyful memories.
Never did we hate, but love was our greatest feeling.
But after, a day came when we left school, drifting away since then.
This day had split us apart, breaking us to think we will never meet again.
However, today this had changed.
Our eyes have met since so long.
Hopefully, they will again one day!
