This is a poem by me, Hyper Viper.

Two middle class kids twist their eyelids
As their egos plow their ids in Internet scam skits,
Bowled their tongue to the pits of marketing bliss,
Couldn’t spare the split so they spit at its pins
To trade Social Security stuff for hobby kits,
Exercise mills, enlargement pills, trick-or-treat, and the thrills!

Breaking through the brisk bridge between self and defense
But they don’t know the risk of phishing amidst the fence
Of terrorists’ tracks, faxed for the peregrine pacts
The Patriot Act could no longer react to keep privacy intact
Since the government slacks on trimming tax, they relax
And accumulate fat as if America was raised on Big Macs

So our children’s children’s children asked,
“Since when has media election coverage fed us some facts?”
Since citizens were attacked, we lack civil rights so we worship Barack
Cuz these days are dark so we need a black man to mark a revolution
But how could we kill war’s conclusion with this ill illusion?
This confusion is just a pollution to our stars-and-stripes!
Politics is no longer politics, it’s business!
There is no progress in Congress, the Constitution is just a death list!
Worse than medical malpractice or cancer diagnosis,
We’re not sleeping tightly, we’re just under hypnosis

There’s no Moses to liberate US from blood lusts to debt-free
So we rather chill with the Pharaoh than cross the Red Sea
Mt. Rushmore’s faces are faceless cuz we carved out humanity
We covered our foundation with foundation and lost our identity!
