This poem is about serving in a war zone and the enemy being within your own ranks. It applies to any enemy that live in close quarters with you.

Who will save us from these attacks we face,

The enemies that do us harm and vanish without a trace,

Tension is in the air,

Hide the fear and confusion that unearths the dispair,

Its now no secret that the truth is out,

Truth plain to see what they were all about,

We bleed from our hearts and plea for an end,

In this regime where minds and values bend,

A hopeless endeavor we face without a solution,

Our only hope and strength this silent revolution,

The dreams and rights we swore to protect,

To endure the discrace and neglect,

For a reason and a hope we still fight,

So that we will live another day to keep up the fight.

Very good. For me it’s impossible to understand why wars go on… You’re very realistic into implanting the vision of what happens there, a true soldier. Keep up!
