A short poem of Australia’s wonders.

Along the lonely road

At the drab bus stop

To the quiet misty plains

Beyond the busy roads and highway chains

Amidst the big city

Beside the port

Aboard the trusty ship

Through the ocean by mechanic whip

Near the reefs and corals

Alongside the shore so bright

On rocks of ancient hew

Where the albatross once flew

In the corner of the world sits Australia
