OUTDOORS

Plants of green,
And carpets of grass,
My living room,
Is so very vast;

This is my living space,
Outdoor sky of pastel blue,
No clouds today,
And yesterday, just a few;

The sun so yellow,
And, oh, so warm!
Alive in the country,
And really on a farm;

The scents which bother,
Some, don’t bother me,
Aromas of herbs and flowers,
Mixed with cow patty;

Ah, the outdoors!
While working or at play,
Gives strength to life,
I’m happy today!
