Look around…

some people live their lives like a race

whoever’s fastest wins

me, i prefer to separate

and wait along on the fringe

some people change, i stay

ever here and vigilant

invisible as always

who could love one such as me?

i’m too quick for them to see

no one could understand

the way that i regard them

with loathing not born of jealousy

but disgust

why do they act this way?

perhaps it’s a new trend?

i now know the reason for my

small number of friends

because you see…the average person

doesn’t meet with my demands

if they aren’t perfect

they’re not worth it

i hope you understand.

I understand. I like to think of myself as different and separate from those around me as well. You watch people’s actions and just shake your head. Makes you wonder what the hell they’re thinking about, doesn’t it?

Let it all out. Some people can learn from the mistakes of others and it is usually the ones that are sitting back and taking notes.

Hello Olive thanks for the write, I understand what is good for other is not always good for us. I choose to be different and unique and I am and possible a little strange, but I like me and I am satisfied. Good write. Always be observant and watchful.

SOMETIMES! It’s okay, being an outsider doesn’t necessarily mean being separated from everyone else. You’d just be unique, like me. ^.^ Keep up the good work
