Drugs, overdose, poetry, depressing.

She sits emaciated and pale,
Too numb to move, too lost to speak.
Her wide bloodshot eyes set in a blank stare
Are dialated to a dark void.
She is consumed by the emptyness that breaks through
And blemishes her skin as it eats away her body.
Her heart beats faster with every attempt that her mind makes
At finding what she is so desperately looking for.
Her mind soon cant even find itself and panics.
The blank stare turns into a look of hopelessness
As she again leans over to ease the confusion
With the burning shards of comfort that overwhelm her nose
And absorbe into her body.
She then falls back into her death-like stare.
You watch her in amazement
And you see her acceptance and contentment as she lets herself waste away.
She defines pure beauty
Fragile like a china doll
And vulnerable like and open wound exposed to infection.
She is stunning yet pathetic,
Descinegrating and broken to perfection.
She lets go.
You wonder, what was she looking for…?
