The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Christ paid the penalty for our sin, when He died on the cross. His righteousness is our ticket to Heaven, if we will accept that gift that He freely gave.

Then I gave to Jesus every care.
His life He freely gave
That my soul He might save
And for sin no longer slave.
Now all my debts are satisfied
And my soul He justified
All because for me He died.

And His face I will see.
For he has prepared a place for me.
You’ve taken one who had no worth
And given him a second birth
Help me Lord to share the mirth.
