Poem.
I stare at the picture hanging above,
There’s rippling water, and an oil-spilled dove,
The water is splashing against the roaring ship,
And all the sails are about to rip,
A look of sorrow in the eyes of the whales,
We try to help, but we tend to fail,
The clouds are dark and filled with fear,
There’s hope-but happiness will never be here..
I then look at the picture like I did before,
But this time I saw a whole lot more,
It was filled with beauty, the water was still,
There were horses grazing on a high hill,
The sky was as blue as blue could be,
And all the doves were flying free,
The ship was calm, the sails barely blew,
And the eyes of the whales were forever true…
