A poem I wrote, I really like it and if anyone knows any publishers who would like to have it I would love an email. Im in the 8th grade.

Painted Symphony

What I want is my own biography

Written in third person

So I can read it to a mirror

Because if there’s something in this world I don’t get

It’s me

What I want is a shotgun symphony

Loud

Defiant

Flowing through the empty canyons of my mind

Your mind

telling my tale

telling me where to go now

I want to take the threads and folds of this ugly reality

And cut

Twist

Sew

make it my own

make it something to look at

to admire

What I want is my soul

Ripped

Shredded

Splattered across life’s open canvas

Painted by my unconscious fingers

For all the world to see

A bloody Picasso of myself

Blotch of red in the white sea,

that’s were you’ll find me.
