Or about Macca and his wife?

The media is run by a corporation

More interested in profits than the population

How do we know what we’re reading is real

When money is obviously the biggest deal

Mass media manipulation is a type of distraction

Used to keep the public out of the action

It is assumed we have a limited attention span

So we don’t need to know about our fellow man

In recent years have you heard more in the news about China?

Where babies laid dying in the streets if born with a vagina

Or about wars around the world that have been raging for years

Or have you heard more about Kevin Federline and Britney Spears?

Like vultures we dissected Jade Goody till dead in the ground

Sniffing at her misery like a pack of hunting hounds

We bought the papers we watched the television

We were the ones that made that decision

The media surrounds us each and everyday

That is the way it will always stay

Is it us against them? Or ourselves against ourselves?
