A poem about finding true love.

Pangs of Passion

When you were young

Everything seemed magic,

No matter what you did

Nothing felt like it was tragic,

The world was so beautiful,

The sky was so bright above,

It seemed like you were destined

To find eternal love.

Pangs of passion

Burning in your heart,

Pangs of passion,

Always ready to start

To turn you on.

As you grew older

Some of the magic died,

But you felt it was still there,

It just went away to hide,

You would never give up hope

For romance could still be found,

True love still loomed everywhere,

And you were onward bound.

Pangs of passion,

Burning in your heart,

Pangs of passion,

Always ready to start

To turn you on.

Perhaps you’ve found that treasure,

Perhaps you are still all alone,

Like a length nothing can measure,

Like that dog without a bone,

I hope you have fallen for someone

Who is a wondrous mate,

I hope you’ve found that magic

That you always knew was fate.

I’ve found mine.
