Papa’s little girls steal his heart as their mother did before.
Zoe with the smiley eyes
Crinkly little nose
Little sister Rachel
Shy as a rose
Sometimes they pinch
Sometimes they bite
Sometimes they count their toes
Sometimes they run and hop about
As cute as little toads
Time and again when Papa calls
They meet him at the door
Climb up beside him on the couch
With books and toys galore
Come Papa! See the playhouse
Come in at the door
Papa barely squeezes in
And stoops down to the floor
So the girls steal Papa’s heart
As his dear girl before
Alas! Alack! The story’s told
As has been told of old
The little girls owns Papa’s heart
For now and evermore
