A poem about seeking that joy and freedom of a life in harmony with nature and not confined by modern heaviness.

Keep moving down that road, let the wind take you
Under the shroud of trees, let the sunbeams shine on your skin
And let them kiss you
Wilderness lay ahead, calm and vast so soothing
Leave the old world behind, see the morning dew shine
As you watch graceful butterflies floating by,
Drifting and passing the time, you don’t even ask why?

Tranquil mountains in sight, you lift your open arms wide
Soaring up, you feel your spirit gliding through white clouds sailing aimlessly by
No one but you, traveling to that place past the distant star lights
Green valleys with snow cover peaks, so high above you
Seen by so few, you marvel at such a sweet view
The Moon and Sun shinning through, you want to fly too
Over landscapes made of pastures and rolling hills

How could you leave this by? Majestic moment piercing your eyes
Escaping from that barren drive of humdrum life
Traveling so far to get away, to feel alive and not in a cage
Paradise lost is just down the road, where the dreamers gather and go
Making a new start, soaking in nature’s golden park
Getting by this drab life, a beacon guiding me to Kingdom’s Gate
Without even trying, I know which way to go beyond this place

That is a stunning piece. Losing yourself among the beauties of nature is so soothing and you described this feeling really well. I loved the poem.

Very intense poem with a sublime message. I was reminded of Milton’s epic Paradise Lost.
