Just a little something.
Life splits and tears at the seems
Pulling the thread tight
And waits for the blood to trickle
Soulless eyes stare
In oblivious tranquility
Foaming at the mouth
Loving til it hurts
Waiting for the knife to slide in again
Feeling the cold steel
As it slices cold and hot
Opening the wound a little deeper
Light penetrates the wound
Blinding the blank stare
Hoping for the paradox
To drag me into the darkness
Reborn and reshaped
Laughing at the pain
The grimace pulls the leather taut
Flames lick the ice
Feeling the warm embrace
Time travels through the black hole
Watching the birds
Fly and sing
Waiting for the return
That never comes
Hoping for the paradox
To drag me into the light.
