Parenthood.
so time grew pregnant,
and gave birth to a bearded giant,
soon to take over for the family’s
next generation with a sword of fire,
held by his developed muscle of maturity
He was the foetus of an investment,
as her water broke,
mommy never knew this day would come;
mommy never knew she was cuddling Obama
in her hands,
daddy never knew he was patting Kanye West’s head,
daddy never knew he was carrying
Lebron James in his arms
So time grew pregnant,
and gave birth to a bearded giant,
soon to take over,
they fed and cared for the charming infant
in juvenile diapers,
till he looked monumental and fresh
as the denim of championship.
Now tears stream down their eyes,
as they see their “little boy”
in a neat suit, putting a ring
on the finger of his woman.
