Parents are only human but their hearts are always in the right place.
I see a great tragedy in your feat
You successfully raised my siblings and me
You got through what would end most couples
but stuck together and your strenght doubled
Although turbulent arguements would often occur
Soon enough you would come back down to earth
Over thirty years you stayed together
Though admittedly you could have done better
Then cracks surfaced from the dark
Scarring both your hearts and leaving marks
but then you found room to forgive and forget
and then came the bad news, you have six months to live
