A parody is usually a joke but mine has a very serious meaning and message.

I been watching the history channel
It’s making me afraid of my own shadow
I been worrying for so long
Our lives seem cast and
things are suppose to go wrong
Dear God please don’t sweep us all away
I pray there wont have to be a dooms day
Please God give us more time
Then hopefully youll decide to change your mind!
All we wanna do is find a way to your truth and love
What can we do to find the way to your Heaven above
It’s fortold that there will come a time
A dark day when the sun does not shine
Terrible things come from outerspace
Catastrophies caused by our fall from grace
This tv show sheds some light
on scary prophesies apocalyptic might
We need a new direction
Lets exchange some wise suggestions
All we wanna do is seek the way to your grace and love
We can’t make it through without a way back to your love
Please God open your heart again
I’m so hoping you wont destroy us in the end
There are moments when I don’t know if your real
Does anybody feel the way I feel
Oh God I’m heavy leaden
Is there any way to avoid Armageddon
All we wanna do is find a way back to your love
We can’t make it through without a way back to your love
And if we open our hearts to you
We’re hoping you’ll show us what to do
And if you tell us to start again
We’ll be the kind of people on whom you can depend

Hi, I recently signed up for a current.com video account and I decided to research my screen-name, visionarybee, on current which is an ID I’ve often used in the past. You can message me on youtube.com under my ID there which is thegoodsharer. I wrote the above poem as a parody to the song “way back into love”. And I changed my word Armageddon, that’s 7 lines from the bottom, to tribulation. After I wrote it I realized that tribulation makes allot more sense then Armageddon (war bet good and evil). Just wanted you all to know that.
