If you have read “The Canterbury Tales” by Geoffrey Chaucer, then you know at the beginning all the characters are introduced. This is my introduction of a fictional character.

Partier Prologue

The Partier is rolling in one of his who cars,

Checking out that hot chick on the sidewalk with the arse.

You know he be rollin’ down his ghetto-hood street,

Rocking to his T-Pain with his big bass-booming beats.

He’s going to a party with the drugs and all the beer,

They boy gets more excited as he knows he’s drawing near.

He spent all his money on a pair of baggy jeans,

Spent hours at the gym getting buff and getting lean.

Patterns in his hair and a tattoo down his back,

When the music starts playing he’ll be picking up the slack.

He may be a white-boy, but he lays down all the moves,

He’s the life of the party while he’s drinking all the booze,

He always feels so cocky in his tall white tee.

He brought some Tums in case the drugs and whiskey don’t agree.

With dark eyes and blond hair he’s getting all the ladies,

Party like a rock star and dance like it’s the eighties.

This boy loves his parties and as he enters the door,

Neon lights and frat boy fights draw him in even more,

He blends into the crowd with an eye out for a honey,

He finds a girl who tells him that it’s all about the money.

Everybody dances; DJ Sisson plays her songs,

White-boy’s going crazy as he moshes with the throng.

He wakes up in the morning with a headache and a cough,

Wishing he’d go back in time when the lights were still off.
