A poem about life and death.

Passing Away

I believe when someone passes,

They go to a different place,

A dimension, no time, no words,

Not even what we believe is called space.

A loved one passes and is gone,

We are left behind to carry on,

It is important as we pass through,

We learn values of all that is true.

Some are lost in despair, misguided,

They cannot find they’re way through fear,

Our job is to help them as best we can,

Even if it is just hope endeared.

I really could relate to this poem. I had an after life experience in 1978, and what you said was exactly how it was, “A demension, no time, no words.” However, it was understood, and real. I believe we are only here for a short time, because it is not our destiny to be here any longer, there is a place we go to after this one. Beautiful poem.
