Simple poetry.

The path of life,
filled with razors and swords,
hitting sharp needles
in my toes.
I wander for the petals of roses,
shall be spread somewhere
on the road.
I can see a beam of light,
just hitting my face,
like a ray divine,
touching my soul to the core.
But it somewhere far away,
I’ve to cross the stinging road.
I fall, I try,
wishing I could fly.
But that’s not easy,
to get it by.
I’ve to make the shattered world of mine,
with a new beginning,
to build up a path divine.

It is the rocks we step on, the mountains we climb and the ground we bore under that make the journey\’s end a treasure.Well penned as I always like reading your nicely done prose.
