Like father, so is the son.
Different shades to the same path
In directions of wisdom and wrath
Leave a trail growing to many parts
As multiple shoot forth and dart
The way first way as the guide
Shaped by the essence of the great divide
Nurturing those that came to rise
That’s what it takes to be wise
Faded ideologies and timeless pages
As many ages alter fields and stages
What changes they carry in their symbols
Some intoxicating more than alcohol
Yet as they confuse just like before
Drive deeply into the heart of the core
Conflicts a fate that show the events
How different each road represents
Wild antics suffer from ancient fury
That chooses fate and destiny in the jury
Different destinations are locked and set
Followed all the way with no regret
Until it’s a cause lifted up in a war
In a urge to rise, rip and roar
Rifts arise tainting the plains and fields
All for a true goal and vision to wield
From the start all the way to the end
From confusion, conflict and never to pretend
Not always anarchy but like the past
As all fades away and never last
All that remains is the phantom reflection
Seeing us in others through jaded projections
Through me in my father and him in me
I go my own way as I am meant to be.
