The saying, "Patience is the mother of virtue," is, indeed, so significant that it is applicable to practically all walks of life.

On the road to success,

there’s a need for access

into tuning required

for us to get wired

to patience, sweet-serving

endeavors deserving.

An electric bulb would

light up as it should,

so does the true prize

of patience that ties

with life’s currents no less

to trigger success.

We might relish the taste

of excitement and haste,

but eventually find

ourselves behind;

we might even lose touch

with ourselves as such.

Far might be the goal

that gladdens the soul,

but rushing there would

engender no good,

lest we stumble and fall

and so lose it all.
