My class and I send 1000 paper cranes to the Hiroshima Peace Monument every other year. We were going to send them to Japan in a few weeks, but might be delayed now, indefinitely because of the earthquake. So, I am sending an haiku instead, for Japan.

Paper cranes, flying.

Bright paper squares folded tight.

Small wishes for peace.

Nice! I like this Haiku and it’s good to see that people are doing their best to help the people who were affected by this awful disaster. Japanese people need all the help they can get both moral and material.
