Does it seem like something or someone is always trying to steal your peace or rob you of life’s joy? Don’t let them. Although we live in a world full of chaos, we can still find some refuge and peace. This is a poem about peace for the peace-loving soul.

Peace is Here

Turmoil surrounds

But can’t get in

Chaos threatens

But will not win

Sorrow wrenches

But cannot stay

Darkness hovers

But must go away

Because peace can turn

Life’s evils around

And show how in bad

Some good can be found

Peace can turn turmoil

To tranquility

Peace can turn chaos

To serenity

Peace can turn sorrows

To precious memories

Peace can light darkness

Heart pain she can ease

As storms rage in life

I’m firm through each test

Because peace is here

My soul is at rest

its easy for anger to be spread around, from one person to the next. this poem inspires me not to get caught up in the temper of others .
