Today, more than ever, the need for peace must be fulfilled; perhaps, we can learn a great deal from the gulls and dolphins.
The gulls swoop down
from a clear blue sky,
as if teasing the dolphins below,
performing adeptly like clowns
intent on stirring up the calm
upon the ocean surface,
tickling the summer breeze
that it may blow with
double vigor and waft the aroma
of peace to the shores.
