Peanut Butter N Jelly

A poem.

Gushy stuff smeared around

The other one is kinda brown

Sticks to the roof of my mouth somehow

Then the purple oozes out all around

In between two slabs of toast,

A way I like to eat it the most.

A quick and easy way to make

A little snack or treat.

It’s called peanut butter n jelly

And it’s what I like to eat.

    Hey this is good poetry. Brought a smile to my face. =) Unlike Drew, I think its great because poetry isn\’t always about deep topics with lots of metaphors and personification. I think the lighthearted poetry like this is the best. Five stars. =)
