I love my home; the Pearl of the Orient.

I love my home,
My paradise island,
My heart is with you,
The kingdom of my race,
It’s the base where I stand,
It helped and protected me,
The man that I am today.

The land is rich in minerals,
Fruits grew here and there,
In all seasons harvest can be,
No shortage of food whatsoever,
Called by some as the new Promised Land,
A little bit behind in technology,
But coping up in services worldwide.

There are few things for us to consider,
Which hindered our growth in its entirety,
The separatists, rebels, and corruption
In the government and the society as well,
Brought us down like a fallen tree,
How can we continue and survive?
Oh pearl of the orient, stand and shine!

A wonderful description but is is a shame that all these problems make life there so difficult. A very well expressed piece.

I’m sure the “Pearl of the Orient” will stand and shine. Your home looks lovely and your write writing portrays that fact well.
