Poem written in High School.

Pacing peering through bars
gray cold steel
centered in a room
blackness swallowing my existence
my life bit by bit
there’s one light swinging
left right then repeating
pendulum procuring my position

My mind silently screaming
grinning ear to ear
failing to fight back the laughter
that scaring the opposition.

A 360° pan brings
memories
time rewinding
finding little else to
look for.

My wallpaper’s monochromatic
which is making it dramatic
and turning crazy asthmatic
into breathing lunatic.

My last image in my head
every nightwhen I’m in bed
is my well paid lawyer
telling me that
“they’ll never make it stick “

The demons are screaming double-teaming
during the night scheming
seeming to wait for my final day.
At that time
Im released of my crime
because I never see another light of day
