This poem is about those who constantly look over your shoulder.
He sits behind me…
Watching.
He reads what I am writing.
He looks over my shoulder
Gazing at what I am reading.
I wonder what it is that makes
Him so unearthly curious.
He takes out what has been printed,
Out, for my eyes only.
He has a stare that unnerves you
He has eyes that make you feel,
Undressed.
It’s as though
He can see within your mind.
He is watching all the time.
I wonder what he’s searching for
Or if he knows himself.
I wonder if he just does this at work
Or if he does it, to everybody else.
