The demise of a simple cent.

Penny for your thoughts

What it bought

In the days of old

A sweet was bold

No longer used, but tossed

To the ground at no one’s loss

A little cent

No longer spent

Collects in a jar

Or in the family car

Pitch it in a wishing well

To wish on a spell

Lost in its worth

With no hope for rebirth

That little penny

No longer has use for many

Actually the value of copper keeps going up, so you better hold on to those little pennies. they cold be worth big money some day.
