Here is an example of a persona poem.

Doggie

When someone look down at me,

What would they say?

Most responds:

“Hi, Puppy!” or “Hey, Pal!”

But one name’s enough.

You named me

What I should be called.

Tell them exactly,

Or you’ll confuse me.

I’d tell you,

How I hate walking over a rug

Itchy and rough

Damaging most parts of my poor paws.

I hope you had a wooden floor

Where there’s smooth surfaces

Providing a better nap.

What’s more I’ll say!

I’m your pacifier,

When you’re down

You stare at me

As if I stole your luck

I hope you have already seen

My inner side.

I’m still your loyal pet.
