A pondering poem.

I wonder as I wander

and I wander as I wonder

and I look out of the window

at the view,

why the grass is always greener

and the other girls are leaner

and we’re never satisfied with

what we do

…or have.

We want everything much faster

though it might be a disaster

and to always be the master

of our world.

But if everyone’s a ruler

thinking others’ worlds are cooler

then it’s into war and chaos

we are hurled.

Let’s stop…

And thus I wander now in wonder

at our world and what is yonder

past our galaxy. I ponder

that we are.

Despite our great delusions

I can’t help but draw conclusions

life’s amazing as we swing a-

round our star.

Lovely thoughts in this poem – I really enjoyed taking in your perspective on this big issue.
