A poem about a great friend that helps me through an awful lot.

A warm feeling fills my heart.

Pushing away pain and suffering.

Minimizing those fearful thoughts and anxieties.

Resurrecting the true being that lies beneath.

Providing hope and friendship.

Comforting,thoughtful words and smiles.

The most amazing person in this world just happens to be my best friend.

Tell me what have I dont to deserve that ?

A very nice poem with deep emotions well expressed. Very interesting that we would not have known the nature of the best friend had not we read the title. Nice work. Pets certainly can do that.
