A dog, a cat and a goldfish called Geoffrey.

Kim
We have a dog, his name is Kim, and yesterday he
learned to swim,
Now at this point I have to mention, it really
wasn’t his intention,
We took our eyes off him a minute by the stream,
and he fell in it!
Cats
Our cat’s had kittens!
Isn’t it jolly,
But she’s gone and had them
in my shopping trolley!
Georgie Porgie
I once had a budgie called Georgie Porgie,
It copied each word that I said,
It sat on my spoon when I drank my tea
and then it nibbled my bread.
It learnt nursery rhymes and it counted to ten,
It sat on my pen when I wrote,
If my budgie had lived until it was eighteen,
they’d have probably given him the vote.
Geoffrey
Geoffrey was a goldfish, he had his own small bowl
Until he grew too big for it, he was cramped poor little soul.
We went and bought a bigger tank, of that he grew quite fond
Until he grew too big for it and we put him in a pond.
The pond was over two feet deep, it measured three feet wide,
But still he grew until there wasn’t much room left inside.
He sprouted fins and pointed nose, his markings grew quite dark,
The vet said “Missus, your goldfish has grown into a shark!”
The vet said “Where’d you get him from? “My son” I said, ” that’s who,
He caught it with his fishing rod, last year, at Whipsnade Zoo”
