The object is not to stand out

But to merge and mingle

With the crowd

If he stands out

The pickpocket knows

That he’ll immediately

Raise suspicion

Some of the unsuspecting

Also think that many a pickpocket

Works alone

Generally, this is not true

They are mostly in twos or threes

A pickpocket stalks his victim

Like a tiger stalks its prey

And when it’s right

The victim will be distracted

Sometimes by an event

Which is made to look 

Like an accident

While by slight of hand

The victim’s wallet is picked

With the use of cells phones

A pickpocket can identify and track

His target to set up his hit

May be older people

That are unable to fight back
