Another poem about creating pictures with the written word.

Picture a deer, if you will

standing by an apple tree

almost climbing up the trunk

to receive the coveted fruit

Picture the sky so brilliantly blue

and the sun shining so bright

an eagle soars gracefully in the air

as a butterfly lits on a flower

Picture a rainbow after a storm

each color such a vibrant hue

and the leprechaun, where is he

running away with his pot of gold

Picture a baby, just newly born

being held in his daddy’s arms

His momma lays in her bed smiling

at the beauty this picture creates

Picture the world in all of its splendor

created by a loving God

the earth is full of word pictured glory

in your mind, can you picture this

Yes, ma’am. With your poetic imagery it was easy to picture.

I can picture it, and it is beautiful! I totally feel that this poem has an odd introduction of tactility and beauty…brilliant stuff…
