1-23-11 Through 2-13-11.

As you drove away that day,
I was thrown back into being incomplete,
You took with you a piece of my heart,
& Within my hands you left a piece of yours,

A promise to return home,
But also a goodbye in the easiest way,
Still heart-wrenching,
Still terribly painful in every way,

I cling onto every memory,
Every moment we’ve spent together

Every day the same question repeated,
Everyday the same answer given,
But still I’m scared,
Still I’m a wreck and losing so much sleep,

The minutes feel more like hours,
That seem to grow longer day by day,
Every moment your away,
My heart turns a deeper shade of gray,

Your the color to my world,
The only way I know how to survive,
The precious rain after a year long drought,
The sun after the coldest winter day,

A gift given by the God,
Your a healer to this broken girl,
Your the reason to keep on breathing,
Your the world to this broken girl,

Everyday a new tear forms,
This heart beats differently without you,
Slow like I’m near to death,
But persistent in living to see you again,

The mind tries to give in,
The heart even though bruised and torn,
Overcomes the will of the mind,
Keeps me holding on,

Everyday without you is the coldest I’ve lived,
One day further from our last embrace,
One day closer to being whole again,
But it’s not easy when your stuck in the middle,

Anger and rage pour through my veins,
But love its not your fault,
I don’t blame you for anything,

I wish you would have never went,
But its to late to change whats already done,
Now I wish for the days to fly by,
Fast-forward through time,

I long to be within your arms again,
I long to feel your touch,
Your skin so addictive,
Your kiss so breath-taking,

Your eyes a beautiful warm liquid brown,
I see my life through your eyes,
Married one day, Husband & Wife,
With children we call our own,

But for now my future is jaded,
I cant see clearly anymore,
The distance breaks my heart,
It breaks our connection,
