On the prowl.
Most people think that pimps come in forms wearing broad, furry hats
and flashy suits, adorned with diamond rings, or driving around in cadillacs
with rims that dazzle,
Those stereotypes were a description of pimps of yesteryear,
Today’s pimps pop at places unaware,
They may come in the form of a soft spoken midwestern
male, who is filled with games and deceptions,
that would make a young girl weary and pale,
Some pimps may look as normal as your next door neighbour
just waiting to corrupt your daughters,
Following them all over town,
waiting for a perfect opportunity to pounce,
Pimps come in disguises of schoolteachers, priests,
and businessmen, slowly revealing themselves
through their dastardly deeds of insensitivity and greed.
