A poem about pineapple.

Prickly and stickly

and juicily gold

Whirled and frothed

or shaped in a mold.

Slurping up triangles

gnaw to the edge

A tropical meal

or decorative wedge.

Rigid and rough

diamondly textured

Artistically whimsical

often conjectured.

A royal fruit

of citrussy blood

Of spiney parentage

birthed in the mud.

Diced and sliced

and carved and chopped

Off smiling faces

juices mopped.

A meal for a queen

symbolic of friends

The pineapple treat

I commend.
