Not every student exchange works out. This is my warning against EF.
Place I could never call home
A perfect house.
Tidy rooms with a hint of mess.
A quit in suburbia
House after house
With perfect lawns.
The mall was a twenty minuet walk away.
And a school and park only 5.
I was perfect
Basked in the harsh Australian in sun.
Where you stayed inside to avoid the heat.
And no one herd when someone screamed.
It was a perfect little house.
With a nice middle aged couple
There good they had a daughter once.
She’d be 16 this fall.
I pick up the phone.
“send me home.”
